Safeguarding

The Methodist Church affirms that safeguarding is everyone's responsibility and is committed to safeguarding as an interregnal part of its life and ministry. This means we will:

  • Promote the welfare of children, young people and adults
  • Work to prevent abuse from occurring
  • Seek to protect and respond well to those that have been abused

All of this is supported with consistent policies promoting good practice across the whole Church.
